An introduction to Writing Worlds—why it exists, what it offers, and the idea behind it, where creative work can be shared and discovered.
Writing
Some things get made simply because they need to come out.
A story finished late at night. A poem left inside a notebook. A photograph that holds onto a moment before it disappears. A painting. A song. An essay. A video. A dish someone is proud of.
Not all of it gets shared. And even when it does, there often isn't a good place for someone else to come across it. Writing Worlds is an attempt at being that place.
Somewhere to share what you make. Somewhere others can look through what people are sharing.
It isn't built for one kind of creativity. Stories, novels, poetry, essays, art, photography, audio, video, fashion, food—all of it has a place here.
The idea is simple: make it easier to share creative work, and easier for people to find it.
If you create, it's somewhere for your work to live outside your own files, notebook, or feed. If you like discovering things, it's somewhere to look through what others have made.
Writing Worlds is still new. It's not a finished answer to how creative work gets shared, and it isn't pretending to be. It's a start.
So if you've made something—written it, photographed it, drawn it, recorded it, designed it—there's a place to share it.
