Today I went out to get some fresh air
The sun was out, and it made everything look and feel brighter
We only get a glimpse of it in a span of a fortnight, sometimes
So I sat out by the fjord breeze
I don’t like it much
But the sun warmed my shoulders just enough to fight off the chill of the fjord breeze
The view was breathtaking as always
The calm fjord reflected all the rocky outcrops and the trees
Just then, I knew I needed to take a picture
My outdated Android sits in my hand,
its lens too poor to capture the aesthetic of the moment
But this time I wanted to take this view with a real camera
A camera I don’t own yet
But how long must a girl wait to get one
Can't they just become cheaper in this economy?
But maybe someday, I hope soon, I will have one of my own
The weather changed suddenly
Like it knew I’d come out now, so it decided to pick on me
I'd only been there for a few minutes
From where I was seated, I could see the ripples of the drizzles
Touching the fjord and having a progressive increase
Maybe another sunny day will come soon
Then I’ll make it up to myself for what I missed
Though I’ve heard some people say that things are going to get colder.
